   Skylark Paint and body 2008     

   The 1970 Buick Skylark                         

     Stripped down and towed to the Body Shop.. Oct 15th

    Removed all of the Chrome ,  Glass , Windows ,  Bumpers and  Rubber Seals .

    Repainting the dash , steering column  Chrome front and rear bumpers .

   And buffing out all Stainless and hard to find chrome .

    Pictures from day 1 at the body shop.

Every Panel was stripped to metal There's alot of damage you can't see.	No more cracks in the rear quarter panel	What happened to this car.	Every panel had damage Dam shopping carts
Rear Panels and Trunk Everything lines up strait now..	Water leaked from rear window And leaked into the trunk	All ready to spray some color The worst is over	Time to paint Primer all done.
Nothing was overlooked I got to see the car before the final color	Looks great	This is no One Day paint and body

 The car was at the body shop for more then 3 months.

Now it's time to carefully assemble chrome parts and New rubber weather strips.
